The article summarises the increased incidence and severity of SARS-CoV-2 in the high risk population (CVD and cancer) in light of the available research. The authors highlight the importance of prevention in this high risk group. They also propose a management pathway for patients with cancer and CVD in SARS-CoV-2 high transmission area which will be useful for clinical practice.
