Methodology

It is a secondary scientific literature collection and revision with the incorporation of the new developments of the COVID-19 pandemic

Research integrity

There is no any kind of conflicts such as plagiarism, but, with reference of Insects as food as cited in the page 6: " For instance, cockroach milk and cockroach flour ...." could be misunderstood by some animal, humane movements that will represented a menace in the ethical issues. It is advisable to do an amendment such as these insect-based by-products will be for animal foods.

Findings.

The findings respond to the present agro-chains reality and the potential endeavors to fulfill SDG goals such as food security. The new food trend are also a reality such as "functional foods" and their inherent properties to reinforce the immune system. It will be advisable to encourage the processed insect-based foods for safety issues due to the potential that some alive-eaten insects could be potential reservoirs of viruses.
