Praise to the authors for having explored the impact of a community of practice on the construction of nurse educator professional identities. Advanced practice nursing roles such as nurse educator identity are essential for advancing nursing theory, practice, and policy.
However, some issues may be addressed to improve the paper.
First, while delineated, the introduction and background are not situated in light of recent knowledge synthesis work on the construction of nurse educator identity or advanced nurse practice roles. I suggest that if there are studies on the construction of nurse educator identity or advanced nurse practice roles from a global perspective, these can broaden the introduction and background to the study.
The authors should demonstrate the need for a critical PAR methodology for their study. I can see that this approach is worthwhile and needed, but this requires clear justification in light of all existing methods.
The results are described in quite some detail, which is good, but results in a lengthy presentation without synthesis of the results around core findings.
The discussion mainly restates the findings and previous studies. which is nice. it should also better relate back to the implications of the results.

The authors have addressed most of the concerns raised and I find the manuscript much improved. What I still missed was a clear data-based statement about the implications of the study. The authors can further sharpen their statement.
