This work presented the synthesis of hollow mesoporous organosilica nanoparticle with various sizes, achieved by tuning the synthesis conditions within the same experimental procedure. The authors prepared hollow mesoporous organosilica nanoparticle from BTEB (Bis-trimethoxysilylethane) precursor with size ranging from about 250 to 500 nm through a dual templating method reported before in their previous paper [1]:

So, the work presented in this manuscript is kind of an incremental work. However, aside from being incremental study, the results of the current investigation is worthy of publication after addressing some issues.
Major comments
1- The periodic mesoporous structure can not be evidenced in TEM images so either to prove it clearly by High resolution TEM or just simply name the prepared materials as hollow mesoporous organosilica (HMO) nanospheres throughout the whole manuscript
2- Hydrodynamic diameters measurements (Hydrodynamic size distribution curves) by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Polydispersity Index (PDI) should be added
3- Average surface zeta potential and surface zeta potential distribution curves should be added
4- TGA analyses of the prepared materials should be added
5- High resolution SEM imaging should be performed
Minor Comments
1- Title : please remove the phrase "Towards a deeper understanding of" and modify the title accordingly
2- Please move Table 1 to supplementary info
3- Please Fig. S3 to main text ( add to fig. 2) and separate the Table from the figure to be added as separate table in the text
4- Please assign all IR bands/Raman bands in all spectra appear in this work
5- It seems there is something wrong in the scale bar (20um) of the image shown in Fig. 7 (i) ???!!!
6- please merge fig.4 and fig.5 in one figure
