The paper conducted a bibliometric-qualitative literature review of papers on BIM-based collaboration between 2006 and 2016. Generally, the paper presented lot of unique findings and has a strong theoretical base.

The abstract is concise and contains meaningful information about the research carried out. The author gave a brief overview on the research area and present state, followed by aim and details about the research.

Generally, the introduction section is well arranged. First of all, the author gave a brief definition for the subject matter which is BIM, then gave an overview of the area to be addressed pointing out the gaps.

The author gave sufficient theoretical background to the research method adopted. Furthermore, he highlighted the observations of past researchers which makes the approach valuable for the current research. However, the author could have introduced a diagram to illustrate the research method which will aid proper understanding of the readers.

The data and results section of the paper was very rich. The authors used charts and tables to present the results and gave an elaborate explanation by relating it with past works.

The discussion and conclusions section presented genuine and original findings. Furthermore, the authors connects the findings with existing research sufficiently. They also highlighted the areas for further research and implication of the findings.

The reference section is well detailed although the name of some journals were shortened. Additionally, the reference section contains more recent papers.
