Thank you very much for the opportunity for reviewing this manuscript. The title of this study is quite engaging and able to inspire researchers since in some countries with limited facilities and infrastructure, patients experience delays in service, one of which is a COVID-19 patient with comorbid diabetes mellitus.

There are some notations on the title, introduction, method, and results, and the discussion that I provide.

• Abstract, title and references It is clear that this research is a comparative study comparing service delays in COVID-19 patients with DM who will undergo an invasive cardiac procedure (ICP).

• Introduction / background The introduction has mentioned the lucid focus on the inspected problem.

• Methods The method has clearly mentioned the univariate and multivariate analysis using valid methods with sufficient amount of data and referred to STROBE guideline.

• Results The results of this study indicate that diabetes mellitus is a comorbid that has a very significant impact on mortality due to delayed invasive cardiac procedure

• Discussion & Conclusions The discussion includes all the factors that will discuss any cardiovascular problems in Diabetes Mellitus patients who are complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic condition. Limitations in the study also markedly write what research lacks regarding other confounding factors such as metabolic control, diabetes therapy and type of diabetes.

  • Overall statement or summary of the article and its findings in your own words The study design answers the aim of the research. No major flaws were identified.

  • Overall strengths of the article and what impact it might have in your field We found that this research is able to inspire researchers in some countries with limited facilities and infrastructure, patients experience delays in service, one of which is a COVID-19 patient with comorbid diabetes mellitus as a strength of this study.

  • Specific comments on weaknesses of the article and what could be done to improve it

Major points in the article which needs clarification, refinement, reanalysis, rewrites and/or additional information and suggestions for what could be done to improve the article.
1. None

Minor points like figures/tables not being mentioned in the text, a missing reference, typos, and other inconsistencies. 1. None
