I have completed my review of revised manuscript ECOG-05601, entitled “Comprehensive analytical approaches reveal species-specific search strategies in sympatric apex predatory sharks”. It is obvious the authors have made significant modifications to address the editor’s and reviewer’s concerns. The major concern expressed by both reviewers was that the manuscript focused too much on the statistical physic approach and not on how the results contributed to the ecology of these species. Based on the significant changes made to the title, introduction, and discussion, I feel that the manuscript is more focused to emphasize the benefits and novelty of using a comprehensive set of methods to explain the ecology of the target species and is a stronger contribution to the literature. Based on this, I feel the manuscript is ready for publication.
