The article “Enhancing effect of chia seeds on heterocyclic amine generation in meatball” discusses an important topic and is well-written. However, changes and corrections must be made

General comments
I suggest improving and standardizing the formatting of the tables.

Figure 2 too small. With that, difficult to verify.

To evaluate the samples, mainly the TBARs, why wouldn't you evaluate them during shelf-life?

Abstract
Line 25: On water? Please describe better.

Line 31: What do you mean water? Water loss/gain? Water behavior?

Introduction
Line 48-51: Confusing sentence. The word "meat" was used 3x in the same sentence. I suggest rewriting.

Line 62: Red meat.

Line 71-72: Which many researches? Please cite some of these researches. Confused phrase.

Line 94: Typo.

Line 111-113: Which ingredient was substituted by chia? Or was it just added to chia?

Material and Methods
Line 123-124: How did you calculate this?

Line 139: A total of 8 min "(4+4)". I didn't understand.

2.2.2. Analyses: These analyzes are so simple and easy to describe. Why not make a brief explanation in the manuscript?

Results and Discussion
3.1. Various analyzes results of meat and meat fat used in meatball production and raw meatballs: What do you mean, several? Cite the results discussed in these topics. Also, it's not several, it's 3.

3.2. Water content: Are these results not expected?

Line 250: very significantly?

Line 253: statistically diverse?

3.7. HAA results: very tiring topic. I suggest in some paragraphs to be more objective.

Line 455-467: Confusing paragraph. I suggest rewriting.

Conclusion
Line 484-485: This sentence is not suitable for a conclusion section.

Conclusion section needs to be improved. Basically, it was concluded that the use of chia had no antioxidant action. I suggest rewriting concluding the main findings of the manuscript.

Line 485-488: Not evaluated during storage. TBARs values tend to increase significantly during shelf life. Chia is expected to have an evident antioxidant action during its shelf-life. Therefore, this statement does not have much importance.

Line 490-494: This sentence is not suitable for a conclusion section.
