Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups
Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups is the online, peer-reviewed newsletter of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). From 1991 through 2015, each SIG published under its own title. In 2016, the separate Perspectives publications were consolidated into the continually published Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups.
Effective January 1, 2017, Perspectives is formally identified as being peer reviewed, though it should be noted that many articles published prior to that date did undergo peer review involving an editor and two to three reviewers from the applicable SIG Editorial Review Committee.
- Does not allow reviews to be publicly displayed
- Only allows reviewers to display the journal they reviewed for
