I obtained my Ph.D in genetics, and currently a postdoc fellow in department of biostatistics and epidemiology at UPenn. Motivated by the growing availability of microarray and NGS data, my research mainly lies in several interesting topics: (1) genetic linkage analysis and association studies for complex diseases; (2) Microarray-based studies for studying dynamic changes of gene expression and DNA methylation; (3) Next generation sequencing analysis; (4) develop new statistical and computational methods to address challenges raised in applications of cutting-edge programs and high throughput technologies in genomics studies.
