I had experience to help my mentor Dr Susan R. Weiss to review many manuscripts. I am also a reviewer of Nucleic Acids Research, Journal of Medical Virology and some other journals.

As a postdoctoral researcher at Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, my research focuses on antiviral innate immunity and the pathogenesis of coronavirus.

I got 7 publications in Journals such as, PNAS, Journal of Virology, Virology Journal, Journal of Virological methods. In these publication, I found:

    1) OAS3 is the essential OAS protein for the activation of OAS-RNase L antiviral pathways, OAS3 recognize viral RNA from flavivirus(West Nile virus), alphavirus(Sindbis Virus), Influenza virus(H1N1 deltaNS1) and Vaccinia virus(VACV deltaE3L) to produce 2-5A.

    2) nsp1 protein of mouse hepatitis virus(MHV, prototype virus of group 2 coronavirus) contribute viral liver pathogenesis by antagonize the type I IFN production.

    3) NS1 protein of Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV) induced protective immune response depends on antibody production during use the protein as a subunit vaccine.

    4) I established a sensitive and specific antigen capture ELISA to quantitated NS1 protein of JEV from human and mice specimens.
