Credit for peer review is more than just recording your review activity on a reviewer profile. That’s only the start. Getting credit means using your peer review activity to advance your career. You’ve done the work -- now it’s time to get rewarded for it!
Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing a series of easy steps you should take to use your verified peer review record to boost your academic standing.
Let's start with the easiest of them all: a two-click process to add your Publons-verified reviewer certification to LinkedIn. From your Publons profile simply click the 'Add-to-LinkedIn' button under your profile photo.
After confirming the certification on LinkedIn it will appear on your LinkedIn profile with a link back to your Publons profile:
It's an incredibly easy way to add proof of your expertise in your field to your online resume -- useful when recruiters and potential collaborators are looking up your LinkedIn profile.
