Professor, principal researcher, Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry, N.N.Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, Moscow; graduated from the Chemical Faculty of the Moscow State University in 1976. Since 1980s my research activities are devoted to the laboratory and pre-clinical studies of the role of growth factors, growth factor receptors and signaling proteins, tumor associated proteases, and angiogenic factors in human tumor development, progression, hormone and drug sensitivity and prognosis, as well as to development and application of radioligand, radioreceptor, ELISA and PCR methods for routine clinical research. By now our group has a data bank on these molecular markers in various types of cancer for about 2000 patients. An author of several books and more than 100 papers in refereed journals.
