László Orbán

Bio

I started my career as a biochemist, then moved to molecular biology and ended up in genomics. During my whole career - with the exception of 3.5 years spent at NIH in the 1980s - I worked on various aspects of fish biology. Until the end of last year, I was a Senior Principal Investigator at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory in Singapore. In January, 2018, I joined the Georgikon Faculty of University of Pannonia as a project leader. My main research interest is focused on the analysis of physiology and especially reproduction of teleosts through the use of advanced genomic tools.
