Rehab O. Abdel Rahman


Associate professor of Chemical Nuclear Engineering at the Radioactive Waste Management Department, Hot Laboratories &Waste Management Center, Atomic Energy Authority of Egypt.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Radioactive Waste Management from Nuclear Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. My research interests cover different aspects of radioactive waste management, including radioactive waste treatment, conditioning and disposal. I authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 7 book chapters, and 4 books. I serves as a reviewer in some international journals, Managing Editor in IJEWM, and IJEE and Editor of the Radioactive Waste book (2012) and Nuclear Material Performance Book (2016). I awarded the State Incentive Award in Engineering sciences, 2011, selected as Top 100 engineers 2011 from IBC, and won the International Publications Awards, Cairo University (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015).
