Bikash Ranjan Parida

I am a faculty at Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India. I have received Ph.D. in Earth and Climate Sciences from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology and the University of Hamburg. I worked as a postdoc at the Institute of the Environment, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. My research focuses to identify the key mechanisms and processes through integrating remotely-sensed and surface-based observations that affect the large-scale vegetation growth under climate change.

I am interested in cross-cutting interdisciplinary research in hydro-climatic change analysis, vegetation-atmosphere interactions, and food security using time-series geospatial data and earth system modelling.
