Very interested in Eukaryotic RNA biology. Educated at Warwick (B.Sc. (Hons) Virology with Intercalated Year, 1998-2002) and Cambridge (Ph.D. in RNA molecular biology, 2003-2008). Postdoctoral work at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (2008-2012) and briefly at the Carnegie Institution for Science, Department of Embryology (later half 2013). Currently working with Nicholas Ingolia at the University of California, Berkeley, on developing synthetic biological tools to study translation.
