Dr Vishal Sharma


I have obtained my M.Sc. & Ph.D degree in Physics in 2007 from Department of Physics, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. My research work in Ph.D was on Energy Loss & Straggling in complex polymeric materials, I have utilized the Ion beam facility at Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi India. I am presently working as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University, Chandigarh (UT) India. My current research interests are in the field of Synthesis and characterization of nano phosphors for the latent fingerprint development in forensic applications, Analysis of Questioned Documents for forensic application, Study of Energy Loss Straggling of Heavy Ions in polymers and Surface Modification of Polymers induced by Heavy ions etc. During my research career, I have published several research papers in National and International Journal of repute.
