I am an associate professor, a junior researcher, and the Head of the Group of Electrochemical Biosensors and Bioelectrochemistry at the UNESCO Laboratory of Environmental Electrochemistry, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. I have received my M.Sc., Ph.D., RNDr. and Doc. degrees at the Charles University in Prague in 2005, 2010, 2010, and 2015, respectively. In 2010, I was awarded by the Prize of Josef Hlávka for the Best Students and Graduates. In 2015, I was awarded by the Prize of Metrohm Company (Czech Republic) for the Best Publication of Young Electroanalytical Chemist under the Age of 35 in 2014. I have published over 80 international research papers (h-index of 19) and 11 book chapters in the area of novel electrochemical sensors and biosensors based on nontraditional electrode materials for investigation and determination of biologically active organic compounds.
