Rui Ma


Dr. Rui Ma is a postdoc scholar in Professor H. M. Zhang's group in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Ma's research interests are Dynamic Traffic Network Modeling, Traffic Flow Theory and Network Resilience, and the application of Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) models on environmental and emergence evacuation modeling.

He received his PhD degree in Civil Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). His PhD advisor was Dr. Xuegang (Jeff) Ban.

Before coming to RPI, He received his Bachelor's degree in Automation with the focus on the Intelligent Transportation Systems at Tsinghua University.
