eric chevet


Eric Chevet is Research Director at the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm). After a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Paris XI - Orsay in 1996 and a post-doctoral fellowship at McGill University (Canada), he established his own laboratory at McGill University in 2001 before going back to Bordeaux, France in 2006. Since March 2015, he is leading the team "Proteostasis and Cancer (PROSAC)" in the "Chemistry Oncogenesis Stress Signaling (COSS)" INSERM department (U1242) at the Comprehensive Cancer Centre Eugène Marquis, University of Rennes, Rennes, France. For the past 15 years, Eric has been investigating the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress signaling and proteostasis control in cancer development
