I am a scientist and data analyst at the interface between biostatistics and bioinformatics. As a scientist, I have professional experience in a wide range of biomedical topics with a special focus on clinical trials, genomics, and patient-reported outcomes. I have published in high-impact journals, such as Nature, Nature Genetics, and PLoS Genetics. As a data analyst, I have performed complex data management and data analysis involving big data, e.g. on the terabyte scale, and advanced statistical models, e.g. Bayesian hierarchical models. I have a PhD from the University of Freiburg, an MSc in Medical Statistics from the University of Leicester and an MSc ("Diplom") in Psychology from the University of Würzburg.
