Expertise in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) biology. Generation of iPSCs by small molecules (chemical based reprogramming), lenti, retro, sendai, mRNA and protein based reprogramming. Directed differentiation of iPSCs and ESCs (human, mouse, rat) into neurons (oligodendrocytes, DA neurons), cardiomyocytes, pancreatic beta cells, CD4/CD8 T-cells. Nano toxicological assessments of engineered nanoparticles using ESCs as a model system. 3D cell culture of cancer stem cells, iPSCs, ESCs, spheroid and organoid formation. DNA damage responses in ESCs.
