One major focus of my research is local adaptation, and the link between spatial variation in ecological conditions and the adaptive differentiation of populations at small geographic scales. Another major interest deals with phenotypic plasticity and phenotype integration, at both the population level and the interspecific level. And the role of plasticity to adjust to temporal and space variations (e.g. phenology, life-history traits, morphology, behaviour), and even to colonise new environments. This last point is close related with some studies with invasive species. Thermal plasticity and adaptation of ectotherms is other interest. the spatial dimension of population and evolutionary dynamics.
