Michael is a teaching and research physical geographer and spatial scientist at the Central Queensland University in Rockhampton. Michael teaches units in: Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Weather and Climate of Australia; and Environmental Studies (Conservation in Australia, Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Policy). Michael's research interests involve the application of weather models (WRF), satellite remote sensing and GIS toward the spatial analysis and mapping of weather questions and aerosol transport.
