Mallikarjun Bidarimath


Veterinarian with PhD in biomedical sciences and have more than 8 years of research, clinical and teaching experience contributing to improving the understanding of diseases as well as overall animal and human health. My current research focusses on the role of cancer stem cells in the pathogenesis of ovarian adenocarcinoma. I am interested in Immunology, Theriogenology, Reproductive Immunology, Stem Cells and Cancer, Comparative Pathology, animal models of infection and diseases, genetically modified rodent models. Currently, I serve as an associate editor for BMC Veterinary Research, Veterinary Medicine and Science, and Veterinary World. In addition, I also serve as an invited peer-reviewer for 18 journals, so far, in my area of expertise.
