He is an academic researcher in analytical, environmental, and industrial chemistry. Aljerf is an expert in the investment of eco-friendly practices in the energy field. In addition, he is a partner in the Advances in Cleaner Production Network, a Senior Expert Chemist Member of the German Chemical Society (GDCh), a member of the American University of Beirut, and a member in the 6th International Workshop - Advances in Cleaner Production Network (ACPN) Committee (http://www.advancesincleanerproduction.net/sixth/english/site/organizacao.html). He published many papers in peer-reviewed journals, magazines and conferences in three languages (English, French, and Arabic).
