My current research aims to reveal psychosocial mechanisms that explain post-treatment fatigue in cancer patients. We apply a dyadic diary method to investigate daily patient-partner interactions and cognitions that may maintain fatigue after treatment completion.
My general research interest is directed towards understanding and fostering psychosocial adjustment to physical and chronic disease, including cancer. First and foremost, I am very much motivated by and committed to conducting research that benefits the health and psychosocial well-being of patients, their partners and families.
