My research interest lies broadly in developing novel statistical methodologies with application in biomedical sciences. Currently I am working on integrative proteomics and digital health data analysis. Other areas of Statistics/Biostatistics I am interested in include but not limited to: missing data imputation, Bayesian non parametric modeling, survival analysis and high dimensional variable selection for zero inflated count models.
I am currently a research fellow in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in the lab of Dr. Pei Wang . I graduated with a PhD degree from University of California, Riverside in June 2016. Prior to that I received my Masters degree in Statistics from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) and my Bachelors degree from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata (affiliated to Calcutta University).
