Anthony Salamone is PhD Candidate in British and European Politics at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on the politics of the UK’s and Scotland’s EU relations. As an active member of the Edinburgh Europa Institute, he is Co-Convenor of the Edinburgh Europa Research Group and Managing Editor of European Futures, the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Europa Institute blog on Europe. Anthony has an expertise in digital engagement, evidenced through his work on academic blogs and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) – he was Lead Educator of the free online course Towards Brexit? The UK’s EU Referendum. He has strong connections within the European community and extensive events management experience, having organised and chaired numerous seminars, lectures, panel discussions and conference segments, many of which have featured senior figures in Scottish, UK and European affairs. He writes on UK-EU politics on his blog, Britain’s Europe.
