Monika A. Zielińska-Pisklak


Monika A. Zielińska-Pisklak graduated from Medical University of Warsaw (Poland) and obtained her M.Sc. in Pharmacy in 2002. She completed PhD studies in 2008. In 2012 she obtained specialization in Community Pharmacy. Currently she has been working in Department of Biomaterials Chemistry (Dept. Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry), Faculty of Pharmacy at Medical University of Warsaw as Assistant Professor. Her main interest focuses on the application of spectroscopy, especially NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and EPR (Electron Paramagnetic Resonance), in pharmacy and forensic sciences, molecular modeling and quantum chemical calculations of molecular properties of drug particles (Gaussian, Sybil, Castep), photodegradation processes of active substances and excipients in pharmaceutical preparations, application of polymers in drug formulation (especially modified release solid dosage forms), isolation, structure elucidation and biological properties of active components from plant extracts.
