I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. I am involved in research related to radiopharmaceutical drug development, validation, and use of radiotracers in clinical settings. My prior Postdoctoral position in the Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey was focussed on developing small-molecule inhibitors of bacterial transcription for application as antibacterial agents and broad spectrum antibiotics.
I completed my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. My dissertation research was directed towards developing redox-neutral strategies for the mild functionalization of C-H bonds, and development of chiral bimetallic bisoxazoline ligands and it’s application in asymmetric catalysis.
