Thierry Lefèvre

I am currently Research Associate in the Departement of Chemistry (Université Laval, Québec, Canada). I use to study structure of peptides and proteins using vibrational spectroscopy, especially in biomaterials (silk) and when interactiong with phopsholipid model membranes. From 1998-20014, postdoctoral researcher in the Departement of Food Science (Université Laval). I obtained my Ph.D. in 1997 (Université René-Descrates (Paris 5))

Research interests : Structure and properties of biological systems (spider silk and other silks, proteins and peptides, phospholipid model membranes) ; Vibrational spectroscopy (IR and Raman) ; CD ; Molecular orientation of materials
