I am a computational scientist at the Institute for Microelectronics, TU Wien, where I currently hold a senior scientist position. I lead the Christian Doppler Laboratory for High Performance TCAD, where my team and I investigate high performance computing approaches for cutting-edge semiconductor process simulations. In general, my scientific interests are in the field of research software engineering for scientific computing, with a special focus on modular frameworks, algorithms and data structures as well as high performance parallel computing. My background and my current area of application is micro– and nanoelectronics.
