Haiming Chen


He received the BEng and MEng degree in computer engineering from Tianjin University, China, in 2003 and 2006 and the PhD degree in computer science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. He is now an associate professor at the department of computer science, Ningbo University. From July 2010 to April 2017, he has been a research assistant professor at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he received the Outstanding Faculty award in 2011 and 2016 respectively. He has published over 40 papers in areas of wireless, ad hoc, sensor networks and networked embedded computing systems. He has served as TPC member for several international conferences, such as IEEE ICPADS 2014-2015, and reviewers for several international journals, such as IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Computer Networks, and Ad Hoc Networks. He won the third prize of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Awards in 2013. One of his co-authored paper was elected as the Best Paper of CCF CWSN 2015. He is a member of IEEE, ACM and CCF (China Computer Federation).
